A soft suede effect jacket cut short and worn loose, with a collar big enough to be the point of it. The nap catches the light the way real suede does, so it reads as an expensive layer rather than a functional one, and because the body is cropped and the shoulders are dropped it sits over a vest, a fine knit or a shirt without adding bulk at the hip. It is an autumn jacket in the proper sense, warm enough for a cool evening and light enough to keep on indoors.
